At least some of the bodies recovered from the Air France crash this month had broken bones, Brazilian authorities have told French investigators, evidence that suggests the flight broke apart before hitting the ocean.
Paul-Louis Arslanian, director of the Bureau d'Enquetes et d'Analyses, the French accident investigation board, said Thursday that Brazilian medical examiners had given that information to his agency.

Asked whether the information included reports that the recovered bodies from Flight 447 had fractures to arms, legs and hips, and few had any clothing, Arslanian said yes.

All of that, aviation experts have said, points to a mid-air rupture of the plane at about 35,000 feet.

There is still no explanation of what brought down the Airbus A330, which was en route from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to Paris, France when it crashed in the Atlantic on June 1.
Arslanian pleaded Thursday for the media and the public to stop speculation about the cause of the Air France crash.

A major Brazilian newspaper reported this week that 95 percent of the bodies so far had shown fractures in the legs, arms and hips similar to injuries found in people who fall from great heights. The newspaper O Estado de Sao Paulo cited unnamed officials who are part of the investigation.

Vjutemas o Vkhutemas (Pronunciación ▶ (ayuda·info· [Reproducir] en ventana), en ruso: 1080;е, Talleres de Enseñanza Superior del Arte y de la Técnica) fue una escuela estatal de arte y técnica de Moscú, Rusia creada en 1920 por decreto del gobierno soviético. Los talleres fueron establecidos por un decreto de Vladimir Lenin con la intención, en palabras del gobierno soviético, de "preparar maestros artistas de las más altas calificaciones para la industria, constructores y administradores de la educación técnico - profesional."[1] [2] La escuela tenía 100 miembros[3] en la planta docente y una matrícula de 2500 estudiantes. Vkhutemas fue formada por la fusión de dos escuelas: la Escuela de Pintura, Escultura y Arquitectura de Moscú y la Escuela de Artes Aplicadas Stroganov.[4] Los talleres tenían facultades artísticas e industriales; en la facultad de arte se dictaban cursos de gráfica, escultura y arquitectura, mientras que en la industrial se dictaban cursos sobre impresión, textiles, cerámica, madera y metalurgia.[5] Fue un centro de los tres principales movimientos de vanguardia en el arte y la arquitectura: el constructivismo, el racionalismo, y suprematismo. En los talleres, los docentes y los estudiantes transformaron la visión del arte y la realidad con el uso de geometría precisa con un énfasis en el espacio, en una de las grandes revoluciones en la historia del arte.[6] Durante 1926, la escuela fue reorganizada bajo un nuevo rector y el nombre fue cambiado de "Estudios" a "Instituto" , o Vkhutein. Finalmente y tras diez años de existencia, fue disuelta en 1930, luego de presiones internas y políticas. Los docentes, estudiantes y la herencia se dispersaron en otras 6 escuelas.
